Floral Class raw puerhs are by far the most popular. The nature of Floral Class puerhs, however, varies wildly. Some of this variation is attributable to when the leaves are picked and whence they're derived. Tips of early spring are fiercely sharp and high pitched, especially in early spring commonly referred to as “first flush.” As the year progresses, this ferocity is toned down and becomes more fruity till by summer and autumn all slings and arrows are replaced by the pure sugar for fruit, which is a category unto itself.
Lingcang and Yiwu florals are probably most highly regarded, though the ruling principle is always going to be when the leaves are picked and whence. top There are even more details to be gathered in this regard. Lincang is bifurcated by two distinct styles and only one is floral. Yiwus may initially be devoid of floral notes only for them to express as they get beyond their 12th year. These Yiwus are extremely highly regarded, as they don't bite but emanate a deep forest floral funk that stands in marked contrast to the bright and piercing florals. Pictured are
'05 Jingmai "003", Lancang Ancient TF, pure buds
'06 White Tips, Tulin TF, this is from a tuo
'07 Early Spring, Laoman'e TF, extremely subtle and powerful

These selections are decidedly mid-aged, ranging from '03-'07. Links regarding these treasures afford the curious to explore further. The offerings themselves offer a range of floral expressions to advance one's general comprehension of the class itself.
