Tingsha Bell:
Tibetan Tingsha Bells are small cymbals used in prayer or rituals by Tibetan Buddhist and yoga practitioners. Two bells joined by a leather strap or chain (these have original leather strap) top. When struck together the cymbals produce a clear high toned pitch. Played by hitting the flat edges together and allowing them to move apart so that the sound can resonate. Made of very thick and beautiful brass.
The ones I have to offer have the 8 Auspicious Symbols encircles the top of the bells. The 8 Auspicious Symbols represent qualities of enlightenment and serve as teaching tools. They are:

Conch Shell
Treasure Vase

Dharma Wheel
Pair Golden Fish
Endless Knot
Lotus Flower
Measure 3 1/4" across and are domed to approx 1 1/4" The leather strap between the two is 16"
