BlueTooth Amplifier Kit. Kit contains a high performance BlueTooth amplifier rated at 8W per channel, a mounting bracket with an integrated reflex port. All mounting hardware is included to mount the amplifier board into a speaker box. The port does not have to be used if you would like to leave the enclosure fully baffled (without a vent or reflex port). A battery power supply module is available at this etsy store if you don't currently have a power supply available for your bluetooth speaker project.

This kit contains.

BLUETOOTH MODULE - The TSA3111 (U.FL) Dual Channel Amplifier Wireless Digital Bluetooth 4.0 Audio Receiver Amplifier Board. The amplifier is a class-D architecture and can be powered by any DC8V-16V power source. It can be used to drive any 4Ω or 8Ω passive speakers. The board is rated at 8W per channel (16W total) of very clean power and requires at least 2A (at 12V) source for full power. I have found that with decent coaxial 4 ohm speakers this is more than enough power to fill a large room or shop.

POWER PLUG: A dc 5.5mmx2.5mm (5.5mmx2.1mm will also fit) power plug is provided if you don't have a power supply with that output. The opposite end of the wire is tinned with solder.A right angle plug is provided with a 290mm length wire lead. These two components could be used to attach power the amplifier directly using an external power supply (wall wart power plug etc).

MOUNTING BRACKET: Supporting the bluetooth amplifier is a thermoplastic bracket is that is designed for rugged simplicity. The amplifier is attached by four (4) stainless steel 4-40 socket head cap screws. The screws thread into thermal set brass 4-40 inserts that won't strip out like screws threading into plastic. Mounting bracket is available in black and gray. Please add your color choice for the port in your comments at time of order.

SPEAKER PORT: Reflex port provides for optimum bass response and is mounted onto the side of the ammo speaker box. The reflex bass port is specifically tuned for the BTAmmoCan (a 50 cal ammo box boombox is available for sale at this store) and offers excellent punchy bass. Port includes four (4) stainless steel 8-32 Nyloc nuts in recessed mounts in the port. The port is also available in white or medium gray and can be substituted at no cost. ANTENNA: External antenna provides extended range for your bluetooth boom box. The 2.4GHz Flat PCB Antenna 3dBi with U.FL connector is provided with double stick tape which makes it easy to attach the antenna to the inside of the speaker enclosure. External antennas are available for additional cost, please message me if you are interested in a larger antenna.

AUXILIARY INPUT: An 1/8" (3.5mm) auxiliary input plug is integrated cleanly into the fron of the reflex port. This simplifies installation and provides an attactive strong mount for an external audion input.

SELECTOR SWITCH: The selector switch for the input (Bluetooth versus Auxiliary input) is provided through the use of a ON-OFF-ON SPDT rocker switch. A mounting bracket with 4-40 socket head screw with a threaded brass insert is provided to insure a strong and versatile mount. WIRING HARNESS: The auxiliary audio input and selector switch input come prewired with JST 2.54mm spacing connectors. These mount to the BlueTooth amplifier module and are ready for installation. Now soldering or crimping is required to attach the connections.


APPLICATIONS:

You can use this bluetooth amplifier along with a power/battery module, speaker kit and the fabricated 50 caliber ammo can and you can build a custom high power blue tooth boombox. I have already worked out all the details and all components have been fit tested!

This bracket and port assembly is also available in white thermoplastic. These brackets are made and assembled in my shop so you can be assured that the quality is high and the delivery time will be short! Just let me know if you would like a white plastic brackets.
