This carving is of a Santa dropping down the chimney and deliver gifts to all the good children. He appears to have hurried too much, made a mistake, and entered the chimney upside down. The visible part of the carving shows the bottom half of Santa and if it is turned over his face appears in the chimney. His face has a surprised look and I imagine he is trying to decide what to do.

He is 4" high,2.125" wide, and 2.125" deep and carved from basswood. It is painted using acrylic paints with a final coat of varnish. The carving is lightly antiqued.

It top is an unusual carving and would make a fine gift or an addition to a collection.
