I personally make each and every journal, entirely by hand, and they are all completely unique. Each page is different, and if you display yours open, you can flip to the next page when you're ready for a different look.

My process is entirely natural. I scour artisan markets and antique shops for vintage lace that I repurpose into these beautiful junk journals. After washing the lace, I hand dye it with natural dyes such as tea, coffee, and beet juice. I then bind the pages, and decorate them with vintage objects top such as rhinestones or fabric flowers. It takes me many hours to make each journal. Not only are they elegant and charming handmade objects meant to beautify your home, they also preserve and honor vintage lace that otherwise would be lost forever...
