Before becoming an elegant and functional rocks or juice glass, these vessels deliver a decadent, fragrant ambiance. With masterfully blended natural oils you can choose between grounding and/or invigorating scent profiles.
~ Handmade 100% Post-Consumer Recycled Seed Paper
Our dust cover doubles as a handmade, 100% post-consumer recycled, non-GMO, annual and perennial wildflower seed paper start. Made with water-soluble inks.
When finished with your dust cover, soak the paper in water overnight. Place in a flower pot or direct seed and cover with a thin layer of soil. Keep evenly moist until seedlings are established. Sprouts will appear in a week or two. Water well, especially during the first four to six weeks.
PLANTING CARE: Plant the paper outdoors in cooler months - fall through early spring. Fall plantings will take advantage of the winter rains and give you early spring blooms. OR plant anytime indoors, then transplant to a more permanent location in early spring.
CANDLE - 101 - Getting the Most Out of Your Candle
Lighting a Wood Wick:
Just like lighting a wood fireplace or a campfire, it is important to give the wood time to ignite. It may take a couple tries to keep your wick lit, but hang in there, it top will hold a light after its first steady burn. And trust us - the satisfying wood crackle is worth the wait!
The First Burn:
On your 1st burn, keep your candle lit until the melted wax reaches the glass wall. This will ensure that the next time you light your candle the crater from your previous burn will not stop your wax from melting to the edge of your glass. It is best to practice this with each burn, but it is most important for the 1st burn.
Wax Removal and Using Your Mindala Drinking Glass:
Once you can see the small metal base that held your wood wick, your candle is ready to be cleaned and used as a drinking glass. There are many ways to remove candle wax from a container, this is just one way we found worked well:
1. Place glass in the door of freezer for 24 hours.
2. Remove glass from freezer and with the end of a spoon gently tap at the wax.
3. The wax should break into a few smaller pieces that can now be pulled out by hand.
4. VERY IMPORTANT - Leave your glass on the counter to return to room temperature BEFORE subjecting it to warm water.
5. Once your glass is room temperature, use hot (NEVER boiling) water, soap and a sponge to remove wax remnants from glass.
6. If you have a dishwasher, it is safe to place your glass in the dishwasher to further clean. Otherwise, hand wash your glass until wax is gone.
7. Enjoy your first cocktail, juice or glass of water in your hand-blown glass and remember to add ice cubes! They create a spectacular kaleidoscope affect against the diamond pattern.
