Sisyphus Sculpture top winding path - Reclaimed Wood - #148

Hand made wood and wire depiction of the Greek myth Sisyphus top - punished by Zeus to eternally push a boulder uphill. if ever he would reach the top of the hill, the boulder would roll off and Sisyphus had to push it back again. Great gift for Greek mythology enthusiasts or the corporate business worker who feels that each day feels like pushing a rock up a hill with no progress ever being made.

Base is made from reclaimed pallet in a winding base, the figure is Scrub Oak, the ball is Slash Pine, and the wire from, well wire.

Tung oil finish.
