Flowerpot Cat

This top primitive rug hooking kit features a sweet green-eyed calico cat with pink?!? whiskers sitting under a pot of rustic flowers. Part of the flowers are hand-dyed, as well as the leaves and stems. So are the whiskers, lol! The background is hand-dyed and the rest of the rug is off the bolt new wool. I draw the pattern by hand on linen and it measures approximately 10" x 13" when hooked. The edges are sewn to prevent them from fraying and the lines are carefully drawn on the grain. When hooked it makes an sweet table top, wall hanging, or can be made into a pillow.

Most of the wool is #8 cut (1/4"), but some of the wool for the cat's face is #6 cut (3/16") and some for the eyes and whiskers are #3 cut (3/32"). Those strips are included in the bag for the cat strips.
